I was waiting for this silence for a long time. (Um, also 2014)

These are from a trip to PDX in mid-September, when at one point Ericka and I left the kids with grandma and got to enjoy our first date night since before they existed.  We visited with some old friends for a spell, then stayed in that room named for a Silversun Pickups song. It was nice.

Don't worry, we did do stuff with the kids, too.  Like enjoy the views from Timberline...
