Jared Isaacman still won't answer if Elon Musk was in the room. Sorry... “Ballroom” when Trump offered him the job. And he is still too deep in Elon’s pocket to run NASA. pic.twitter.com/CBU9sDerPb

Not gonna start nothin' on Twitter, but I really don't think this is the right path here. In normal times, I might care a smidge about whether he answered this question, which at heart is a gotcha, but we've got bigger things to worry about. For starters, getting Sean fucking Duffy out of NASA.
Jared Isaacman has commanded 2 spaceflights, and spent more cumulative time in space (~8 days) than any Administrator going back to Charles Bolden1 (2009-2017): on Inspiration4 and Polaris Dawn (also did a standup EVA). Bill Nelson (2021-2025) flew once on the shuttle essentially as a passenger (1986 mission, piloted by Bolden, immediately prior to Challenger), and spent just over 6 days in orbit.
Do I like that he's a billionaire? Nah. Yet Isaacman has real space experience, passion for exploration, and background in management. I do not get the sense that he will continue the destruction of morale and mission at NASA under that smarmy Real World shithead. I'll take it.
Selah.
1 - The only other astronauts to hold the position were Truly (1989-1992) and Gregory (for about 30 seconds in 2005).
