The Winds of Tomorrow Will Blow Tomorrow

Lecture:

Grasses pose and fold
a green sensation woven
of nonchalant breeze.
In gold Sosatsu taught them
to hold us so. So we learn

a brassy meta-
physics of remembering;
rhythms of falling
Mosses from every stone
mouth emerald likenings.

The wind after rain
on the waters reciting
grammar of fractures.
Or, three times three gives hapless
nine: amusing lessons all.

Stephen Sandy.
